'Technology in Cycling, captured by the Giro'.

One week before the Giro d’Italia’s kick off, on Thursday the 28th of April, TU Delft Sports Engineering Institute will organise a symposium on the research being done in the field of cycling: 'how science is helping to improve performance in (elite) cycling'. The aim is to bring together scientific researchers and the industry.

Anyone interested is welcome to join an afternoon packed with interesting demos and presentations. The event is not only relevant for those in the field of cycling, since research from one field can oftentimes help in progressing that of another.

Morgen (7 april) is er ook een seminar en dat gaat over data en sport (en niet per se wielrennen). Hier ga ik in ieder geval naartoe.

Komende donderdag is dit symposium over techniek in het fietsen al! Schrijf je dus nog snel in. We zullen met WTOS in ieder geval te vinden zijn voor, tussen en na de presentaties, en we zullen de presentaties zelf natuurlijk ook bijwonen. Deelname is gratis, maar schrijf je van tevoren wel even in via de website!
